At Community Memorial Cancer Center in Ventura, our gynecologic oncology team combines advanced surgical expertise with individualized, compassionate care so that you feel informed, supported, and confident in your treatment from the very first appointment.

Gynecologic oncology is the specialty dedicated to diagnosing and treating cancers of the female reproductive system. Our surgeons are highly experienced in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures, and are early adopters of the da Vinci® robotic surgery system - bringing nationally recognized surgical precision to patients right here in Ventura County.

Gynecologic Cancers We Treat

  • Ovarian cancer: including epithelial, germ cell, and stromal tumors
  • Endometrial (uterine) cancer: the most common gynecologic cancer, affecting the lining of the uterus
  • Cervical cancer: often detected through routine Pap smears and HPV testing
  • Vulvar cancer: cancer of the external female genitalia
  • Vaginal cancer: a rare cancer of the vaginal wall
  • Fallopian tube cancer: often treated similarly to ovarian cancer
