About
Dr. Manasi Ghatge is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in hematology and medical oncology. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Scripps in San Diego, followed by her Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, where she served as Chief Fellow. She also completed specialized training in bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy at Stanford University.
Dr. Ghatge provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of hematology and oncology, including benign blood disorders, hematologic malignancies, and solid tumors. Her clinical interests include precision oncology, molecular diagnostics, immunotherapy, and emerging cancer treatments.
Her philosophy of care centers on treating the whole person, not just the disease. She recognizes that a cancer diagnosis affects not only patients but also their loved ones, and she strives to provide compassionate, individualized care that aligns with each patient's values, priorities, and goals. She emphasizes shared decision-making, patient education, and incorporating the latest evidence-based advances into treatment planning.
Dr. Ghatge is particularly passionate about expanding access to innovative cancer care. She utilizes molecular testing and precision medicine to help identify personalized treatment options and considers advanced therapies, including immunotherapy and cellular therapies, when appropriate. She also works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and specialized cancer centers to connect patients with clinical trials and additional treatment opportunities.
Committed to improving access to high-quality cancer care in Ventura County, Dr. Ghatge is excited to help expand local oncology services, strengthen partnerships with leading academic and specialty centers, and bring advanced diagnostics and treatment options closer to home. She values close collaboration with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure timely evaluations, coordinated treatment, and continuity of care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ghatge enjoys cooking, baking, playing tennis, and exploring health and wellness. She and her husband, Dr. Arjun Patel, a CMH Primary Care & Sports Medicine physician, recently relocated to Ventura County from Marin County and are excited to give back to the local community.
