About
Dr. Karlos Oregel is a hematologist and oncologist based in Ventura, California, with expertise in solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and rare blood disorders. He received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2011, completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2014, and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Loma Linda University in 2017. Since 2018, he has practiced at Ventura County Medical Center and has served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center since 2020. His clinical focus includes breast, ovarian, and colorectal cancers, as well as complex hematologic diseases and other rare blood disorders. Dr. Oregel remains active in research and has published several peer-reviewed articles. His academic recognitions include acceptance into the Thomas Haider Program in Biomedical Sciences and an NIH MARC U-STAR Research Grant awarded during his training
