Life Before Medical School: Before medical school, I spent my time working as a medical assistant at a Hematology/Oncology Clinic and enjoyed the sunny beaches of Southern California.

Why Ventura? I chose Ventura because of the community both inside and outside the hospital. I like the small close-knit vibes of the hospital and general surgery program.

Medical Interest: I love everything General Surgery! Which is why I am having such a hard time narrowing down a fellowship to pursue. Currently, I find interest in Surgical Oncology.
