Life Before Medical School: I immigrated from Iran to Los Angeles at age 20 and studied Psychobiology at UCLA. During that time, I worked as a science tutor and a dance instructor.

Why Community Memorial?: I was drawn to Community Memorial because of the knowledgeable yet approachable faculty and residents, as well as the diverse patient population and the wide range of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry rotations. I also appreciate the welcoming hospital environment and feel supported knowing that my personal support system is nearby.

Hobbies: Dancing and choreography, Traveling, Spending time with friends
