Medical School: West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine

Life Before Medical School: Before medical school I played college softball at Marshall University, scooped some ice cream at a local shop in West Virginia, gave hitting and pitching lessons, and waitressed at a burger restaurant!
Why Community Memorial?: There are many reasons why I chose Community Memorial. Everyone — from the staff, to residents, to attendings — were all so welcoming and had a clear passion for teaching. Even as a rotating student from the East Coast, I was made to feel like I was a part of the team from the beginning. The culture is strong and the resident-first mindset is evident. In addition, the program offers exposure to all facets of orthopaedics with a great record of fellowship matches. Plus, aside from the training environment, Ventura is a BEAUTIFUL place to be. I'm excited to be able to call this place home!
Hobbies: Spending time with my dogs Daisy and Rambo, finding underrated local restaurants, crocheting, and being outdoors.
