Life Before Medical School: I was doing translational oncology research at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC, along with coaching youth hockey and spending my summers volunteering at a camp for children with cancer on Long Island. That's where my passion for medicine really grew!
Why Community Memorial? I knew this program was special the moment I interviewed in person. The culture stood out immediately — residents who genuinely enjoy working together and faculty who are deeply invested in your growth. It felt like a place where I would be supported, challenged, and pushed to become the kind of physician I aspire to be. I was especially drawn to the strong sense of community and the emphasis on meaningful patient care, which aligns closely with why I chose Family Medicine. Being in Ventura, in a place where I can truly see myself building a life both inside and outside of medicine, made it an easy decision and one I am incredibly proud of! Coming from the East Coast, having year-round sunshine, perfect weather, and being able to see the ocean from the hospital is something I do not think I will ever take for granted.
Hobbies: Hockey, golf, skiing, coaching, searching for the best pizza spots, and staying loyal to New York sports!
