Why Ventura? Community Memorial really stood out to me as a program that not only stated that they cared about their residents but also took concrete steps to facilitate our well-being. From the very beginning, I felt like an important and valued member of the team, and that feeling has only gotten stronger.
Additionally, even though I was raised in Kansas, my mother hailed from the Bay Area, so California has always held a special place in my heart. Ventura then stuck out to me even more due to its natural beauty, the plethora of outdoor activities, and access to the beach!
