Life Before Medical School: After undergrad I worked four years for a health technology company, Augmedix (now Commure), as a remote scribe through Google Glasses. I then eventually went on to travel the country teaching doctors on the service and implementing them with health system clients and later helped train early iterations of AI on medical documentation.

Why Community Memorial?: Community Memorial was incredibly welcoming during my in-person interview and I loved the vibe with everyone I got to interact with. I also absolutely love being near the water, so the location was especially important to me.

Hobbies: I love fishing and crabbing and all water sports, so I’m excited to be able to surf here in Ventura. I also enjoy golf, video games, shoe collecting, working on my track car, snowboarding, and attending music festivals. I’m also a huge beer nerd, and especially enjoy a nice saison or BA stout. Lastly, I can watch any sport but especially love football. Go Niners, Warriors, Giants, and Sharks!
