Why Ventura? I was looking to move back to California after going to school in the East Coast. Where better place than Southern California and Ventura? Great weather, unique and kind people, and it’s always nice to have the option to go to the beach on a day off. Not many places can offer you that, especially during residency when you need ways to de-stress. Plus, everyone in the hospital is too kind. It’s quite amazing to see.
