About

Hometown: Santa Cruz, CA

Medical School: Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine

Undergraduate School: Tufts University

Life Before Medical School: I grew up in Northern California, where I learned to sail at age 10 and spent much of my early years on the water. I raced nationally in high school and later competed across New England as a skipper on the Tufts University Sailing Team, where I studied biology and art history. After college, I worked at a local independent bookstore and found joy in connecting people with books, while constantly discovering new reads of my own.

Why Community Memorial? Community Memorial felt like home from the start. Ventura reminds me of the coastal community I grew up in, where patient care is closely tied to community and connection. This commitment to patient care is shared by the entire Community Memorial Healthcare team: residents, scrub techs, nursing teams, attending physicians, and beyond. It's an environment where I know I will be challenged, supported, and develop strong surgical skills for my career ahead. I'm excited for the opportunity to train in California, stay close to family, and enjoy time outdoors.

Hobbies: Sailing, baking sourdough bread, hot yoga, reading, and supporting local bookstores!
