About
Dr. Tach Nguyen was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and developed a passion for working with children at a young age through coaching youth sports and tutoring students. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University, True Blue, Grenada, and completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Elmhurst in Queens, New York. He found tremendous fulfillment in helping young people develop new skills, overcome challenges, and gain confidence in themselves. Watching a child succeed after receiving guidance and support remains one of the most rewarding experiences for Dr. Nguyen and ultimately inspired his path into pediatrics.
What Dr. Nguyen enjoys most about caring for children is their curiosity, resilience, and sense of wonder. He believes that childhood presents a unique opportunity to positively influence a person’s lifelong health and well-being. By investing in children early and partnering closely with families, he can help them build healthy habits, reach their full potential, and grow into confident, successful adults.
Dr. Nguyen’s connection to California began long before his medical career. Growing up, he frequently visited family in Northern California and spent many memorable vacations exploring the state with his relatives. Those experiences gave him a deep appreciation for California’s welcoming communities, active lifestyle, and family-centered culture. Today, he is excited to raise his own family in Southern California and become part of a community that values health, education, and opportunity.
Professionally, Dr. Nguyen enjoys caring for children through all stages of development, with particular interests in newborn and early childhood care, sports-related health and wellness, and developmental and behavioral conditions such as ADHD. He especially values building long-term relationships with families and serving diverse communities, creating partnerships that support children as they grow from infancy through adolescence and beyond.
