Morgan Clark-Youngblood, DNP, MPH, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and midwifery specialty training from Emory University, as well as a Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health from The George Washington University.
Morgan is dedicated to fostering safe, empathetic, and collaborative relationships with patients and their families. She emphasizes patient autonomy and shared decision-making, supporting individuals to achieve their personal health goals. She provides comprehensive care, including preventive women’s health services, menopause care, family planning, and perinatal care at Community Memorial health centers.
Guided by a holistic approach, Morgan is deeply committed to promoting patients’ mental and emotional well-being throughout life’s transitions. She has a special interest in mental health and mood disorders and has completed specialized training in perinatal mood disorders through Postpartum Support International.
In addition to her clinical practice, Morgan has extensive experience working alongside midwives and nurses in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and East Africa. Her global health work has focused on healthcare workforce development and advancing maternal and reproductive health services in emergency and humanitarian settings.
Morgan is a proud alumna of Global Health Corps, a recipient of HRSA’s National Health Service Corps Scholarship, a Princeton in Latin America Fellow, and an award recipient of the American College of Nurse-Midwives Foundation Leadership Award and the Georgia Nurses Foundation Kathryn Chance Suggs Leonard Scholarship.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the world through food, spending time outdoors, and discovering great coffee. |
