The ancient Chinese martial art of Tai Chi combines a series of slow gentle movements and poses with controlled breathing. Sometimes referred to as “meditation in motion,” Tai Chi promotes a focused, serene state of mind. A regular Tai Chi practice can help improve balance and reduce the incidence of falls in older adults. This class is free to all community members and meets on the front lawn near the Ocean Tower parking structure.
